The work Summer flowers in a vase by Germ de Jong was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2016. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,750.00 70% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Germ de Jong have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Stilleven Met Rooie Lap - A Still Life With Flowers And A Red Cloth in June 2001 with an auction result of NLG 32,900.00 (€ 15,813.28).

Die Arbeit Summer flowers in a vase von Germ de Jong wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.750,00 und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Germ de Jong auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Stilleven Met Rooie Lap - A Still Life With Flowers And A Red Cloth im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von NLG 32.900,00 (€ 15.813,28).
