The work Listonado by Gerd Leufert was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2010. The »bidding war« ended at USD 31,250.00 (€ 25,264.77), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gerd Leufert have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Betijoque in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 206,250.00 (€ 182,151.37).

Die Arbeit Listonado von Gerd Leufert wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 31.250,00 (€ 25.264,77) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerd Leufert auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Betijoque im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 206.250,00 (€ 182.151,37).
