In April 2013 Phillips in New York held the auction Important Photographs from the Collection of Dr. Anthony Terrana, which included this untitled work by Gerard Fieret. The result of USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,037.67) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gerard Fieret - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2017 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,457.55).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im April 2013 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Important Photographs from the Collection of Dr. Anthony Terrana durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gerard Fieret zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.037,67) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gerard Fieret mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2017 für USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.457,55) versteigert wurde.
