Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Trappers with Red River Cart by Gerard Curtis Delano for USD 14,340.00 (€ 13,676.68). This price was achieved in the auction Important American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerard Curtis Delano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In Bonnet And Paint, Early-Day Sioux Scouts in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 471,000.00 (€ 403,598.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Trappers with Red River Cart von Gerard Curtis Delano für USD 14.340,00 (€ 13.676,68) erwerben.
