Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gerard Curtis Delano could be acquired at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Western Art auction, the work Sioux Scouts sight 13 1/2 x 17 1/2 in. framed 23 1/2 x 27 in. changed hands for USD 14,025.00 (€ 13,586.17) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gerard Curtis Delano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work In Bonnet And Paint, Early-Day Sioux Scouts in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 471,000.00 (€ 403,598.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
