Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Les Montmartroises by Georges de Feure was auctioned at Bonhams in January this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,040.00 (€ 1,878.80) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges de Feure achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Femme Dans La Neige (Élégante Au Petit Chien) in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 350,000.00 (€ 313,929.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Les Montmartroises von Georges de Feure kam im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.040,00 (€ 1.878,80) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges de Feure erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Femme Dans La Neige (Élégante Au Petit Chien) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 350.000,00 (€ 313.929,50).
