This price was achieved in the auction Wired: Online Auction at Phillips in an online auction and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 10,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by George Rouy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Looking At Me Through Gaps Of Her Toes in March this year with an auction result of GBP 162,540.00 (€ 184,920.65).
