It achieved a price of GBP 3,055.00 (€ 4,932.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 70%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George French Angas achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Eaglehawk Gully, Bendigo, 1852 in November 2020 with an auction result of AUD 418,200.00 (€ 350,016.74).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von George French Angas erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Eaglehawk Gully, Bendigo, 1852 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 418.200,00 (€ 350.016,74).
