The work New England Landscape by George Copeland Ault was sold in the American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2018. It changed hands for a price of USD 75,000.00 (€ 66,236.86) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by George Copeland Ault have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Plough and the Moon in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 687,500.00 (€ 609,107.82).
