Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Summer Landscape by George Copeland Ault was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in October 2016. The auction ended at the price of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,367.27), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Copeland Ault achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Plough and the Moon in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 687,500.00 (€ 609,107.82).
