The work Calligraphic Variations by George Chann was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 750,000.00 (€ 84,650.71), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 36%. Admittedly, works by George Chann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Peach Blossom Garden in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 4,130,000.00 (€ 487,487.84).

Die Arbeit Calligraphic Variations von George Chann kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 750.000,00 (€ 84.650,71) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 36%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von George Chann auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Peach Blossom Garden im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.130.000,00 (€ 487.487,84).
