A top price for George Chann
In April 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work A Peach Blossom Garden by George Chann. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 4,130,000.00 (€ 487,487.84). With this result, A Peach Blossom Garden is even the most expensive work of art by George Chann that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im April 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Peach Blossom Garden von George Chann zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 4.130.000,00 (€ 487.487,84) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist A Peach Blossom Garden sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von George Chann, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
