Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountain Village, Tenerife by George Campbell was sold in the British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,565.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by George Campbell have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Evening In Connemara in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,400.00 (€ 74,167.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountain Village, Tenerife von George Campbell wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.565,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
