Parker II from the Caxambas Foundation auction at Sothebys in New York in October 2016. The »bidding war« ended at USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,367.27), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by George Benjamin Luks achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lily Williams in May 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,874,500.00 (€ 1,515,482.25).
