Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Yosemite Village; Pines And Pelicans; Winter Woods 3 by Gene Kloss for USD 956.25 (€ 876.89). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples Online Sale at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gene Kloss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,812.50 (€ 23,569.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Yosemite Village; Pines And Pelicans; Winter Woods 3 von Gene Kloss für USD 956,25 (€ 876,89) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online Sale bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gene Kloss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.812,50 (€ 23.569,92).
