Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eve of the Green Corn Ceremony - Domingo Pueblo by Gene Kloss was sold in the Prints & Multiples auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,653.64) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gene Kloss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,812.50 (€ 23,569.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Eve of the Green Corn Ceremony - Domingo Pueblo von Gene Kloss wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.653,64) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gene Kloss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.812,50 (€ 23.569,92).
