Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Noonday Shadows by Gene Kloss was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in June last year. The price achieved of USD 1,083.75 (€ 1,035.20) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,000.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gene Kloss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,812.50 (€ 23,569.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Noonday Shadows von Gene Kloss kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.083,75 (€ 1.035,20) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.000,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gene Kloss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.812,50 (€ 23.569,92).
