Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2021 Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Prints & MultiplesFeaturing the Arthur N. Gilbert Collection, which included the work Return Of The Processional by Gene Kloss. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,167.50 (€ 1,829.42). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gene Kloss achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,812.50 (€ 23,569.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Prints & MultiplesFeaturing the Arthur N. Gilbert Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Return Of The Processional von Gene Kloss zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.167,50 (€ 1.829,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gene Kloss erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Indian Dance Procession in an Adobe Plaza im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.812,50 (€ 23.569,92).
