Executed in 1966, this work is number 16 from an edition of 20, plus 2 test proofs, 2 artist's proofs and 1 bon-à-tirer, printed by Clifford Smith in Tamarind Lithography Workshop, Los Angeles and bound by Schuberth Bookbindery, San Francisco. This work is included in the archives of the Fundación Gego.

Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work Litografía Plegada by Gego for USD 7,500.00 (€ 6,723.44). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gego achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dibujo sin papel 85/13 in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 701,000.00 (€ 637,620.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Litografía Plegada von Gego für USD 7.500,00 (€ 6.723,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gego erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dibujo sin papel 85/13 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 701.000,00 (€ 637.620,52).
