Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2003 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art, which included the work Pour un jardin de dieu by Gaston Bertrand. The price achieved of EUR 9,560.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Other works by Gaston Bertrand have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2007 the work Rouge Bleu et Vert #317 was auctioned for USD 24,000.00 (€ 17,945.27).

Im Juni 2003 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Twentieth Century Art including Belgian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pour un jardin de dieu von Gaston Bertrand zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 9.560,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Gaston Bertrand konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2007 die Arbeit Rouge Bleu et Vert #317 für USD 24.000,00 (€ 17.945,27) versteigert.
