Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre by Gaston Bertrand was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in October this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 115.20 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 80.00 – 120.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gaston Bertrand achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rouge Bleu et Vert #317 in March 2007 with an auction result of USD 24,000.00 (€ 17,945.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre von Gaston Bertrand kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 115,20 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 80,00 – 120,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gaston Bertrand erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rouge Bleu et Vert #317 im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.000,00 (€ 17.945,27).
