The work Rouge-Vert Et Vert by Gaston Bertrand was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2014. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 5,250.00 50% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gaston Bertrand - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Rouge Bleu et Vert #317, which sold at auction in March 2007 for USD 24,000.00 (€ 17,945.27).

Die Arbeit Rouge-Vert Et Vert von Gaston Bertrand wurde im Dezember 2014 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 5.250,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Gaston Bertrand mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Rouge Bleu et Vert #317 beobachtet, die im März 2007 für USD 24.000,00 (€ 17.945,27) versteigert wurde.
