Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Christies in Paris held the auction Art d'Asie, which included the work ROCHERS, ENCRE ET COULEUR SUR PAPIER by Gao Fenghan. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Fenghan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Peonies in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art d'Asie durch, in der auch die Arbeit ROCHERS, ENCRE ET COULEUR SUR PAPIER von Gao Fenghan zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Fenghan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Peonies im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.015.000,00 (€ 732.967,95).
