Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pine Tree by Gao Fenghan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2016. The price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,561.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Fenghan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Peonies in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pine Tree von Gao Fenghan kam im September 2016 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.561,49) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Fenghan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Peonies im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.015.000,00 (€ 732.967,95).
