Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Gao Fenghan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings auction, the work Letters sold for HKD 625,000.00 (€ 73,016.66) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 250,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Fenghan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Peonies in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gao Fenghan erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings wurde die Arbeit Letters für HKD 625.000,00 (€ 73.016,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 250.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Fenghan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Peonies im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.015.000,00 (€ 732.967,95).
