This artwork by Gao Fenghan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2017. In the Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy auction, the work Finger Paintings Of Various Subjects sold for USD 200,000.00 (€ 169,305.00) - well above the upper estimate of USD 75,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gao Fenghan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Album Of Peonies in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Gao Fenghan erzielte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy wurde die Arbeit Finger Paintings Of Various Subjects für USD 200.000,00 (€ 169.305,00) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 75.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gao Fenghan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Album Of Peonies im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.015.000,00 (€ 732.967,95).
