Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bamboo And Stone by Gao Fenghan was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in May 2016. It changed hands for a price of HKD 275,000.00 (€ 31,784.91) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Fenghan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album Of Peonies in November 2016 with an auction result of HKD 6,015,000.00 (€ 732,967.95).

Die Arbeit Bamboo And Stone von Gao Fenghan kam im Mai 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 275.000,00 (€ 31.784,91) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Fenghan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album Of Peonies im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 6.015.000,00 (€ 732.967,95).
