Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trailhands and Trolleys by G. Harvey was auctioned at Christies in New York in October 2020. The price achieved of USD 187,500.00 (€ 160,985.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by G. Harvey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Boomtown Drifters in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 1,230,000.00 (€ 1,056,065.94).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Trailhands and Trolleys von G. Harvey kam im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 187.500,00 (€ 160.985,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von G. Harvey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Boomtown Drifters im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.230.000,00 (€ 1.056.065,94).
