It achieved a price of USD 50,000.00 (€ 42,929.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by G. Harvey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boomtown Drifters in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 1,230,000.00 (€ 1,056,065.94).

Die Arbeit Merchant from Boquillas von G. Harvey kam im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 50.000,00 (€ 42.929,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von G. Harvey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Boomtown Drifters im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.230.000,00 (€ 1.056.065,94).
