This artwork by G. Harvey achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2020. In the The Legend of the West: Iconic Works from the T. Boone Pickens Collection auction, the work The New Range Boss sold for USD 475,000.00 (€ 407,830.34) - well above the upper estimate of USD 250,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by G. Harvey - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Boomtown Drifters, which sold at auction in October 2020 for USD 1,230,000.00 (€ 1,056,065.94).

Dieses Kunstwerk von G. Harvey erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Legend of the West: Iconic Works from the T. Boone Pickens Collection wurde die Arbeit The New Range Boss für USD 475.000,00 (€ 407.830,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 250.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von G. Harvey mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Boomtown Drifters beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für USD 1.230.000,00 (€ 1.056.065,94) versteigert wurde.
