In October 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Nude On Basalt Rocks, Virgin Gorda, 1955 by Fritz Henle. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,862.00). With this result, Nude On Basalt Rocks, Virgin Gorda, 1955 is even the most expensive work of art by Fritz Henle that we have observed at auctions so far.
