Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2009 Christies in New York held the auction Icons of Glamour and Style: The Constantiner Collection Part II, which included the work Nude studies, c. 1950 by Fritz Henle. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,125.00 (€ 2,468.01) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Fritz Henle have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2013 the work Nude On Basalt Rocks, Virgin Gorda, 1955 was auctioned for USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,862.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2009 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Icons of Glamour and Style: The Constantiner Collection Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nude studies, c. 1950 von Fritz Henle zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.125,00 (€ 2.468,01) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Fritz Henle konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2013 die Arbeit Nude On Basalt Rocks, Virgin Gorda, 1955 für USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.862,00) versteigert.
