Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Young Girl, Mexico by Fritz Henle was sold in the PHOTOGRAPHS auction at Phillips in London in May 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 875.00 (€ 1,025.18) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fritz Henle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nude On Basalt Rocks, Virgin Gorda, 1955, which sold at auction in October 2013 for USD 5,250.00 (€ 3,862.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Young Girl, Mexico von Fritz Henle wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion PHOTOGRAPHS bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 875,00 (€ 1.025,18) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Fritz Henle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nude On Basalt Rocks, Virgin Gorda, 1955 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für USD 5.250,00 (€ 3.862,00) versteigert wurde.
