Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Figures on a beach by Frits Klein was sold in the Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in December 2016. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,250.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frits Klein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maternité: the artist's wife Marie Raymond and their son Yves Klein, which sold at auction in June 2017 for EUR 12,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Figures on a beach von Frits Klein wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.250,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Frits Klein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maternité: the artist's wife Marie Raymond and their son Yves Klein beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
