Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Frits Klein achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. In the Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours auction, the work 'Maternite' sold for EUR 3,120.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Frits Klein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Maternité: the artist's wife Marie Raymond and their son Yves Klein in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 12,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Frits Klein erzielte im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours wurde die Arbeit 'Maternite' für EUR 3.120,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frits Klein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Maternité: the artist's wife Marie Raymond and their son Yves Klein im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 12.500,00.
