Auction result well in line with expectations
The work At the theatre by Frits Klein was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. The price achieved of EUR 4,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frits Klein - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Maternité: the artist's wife Marie Raymond and their son Yves Klein, which sold at auction in June 2017 for EUR 12,500.00.

Die Arbeit At the theatre von Frits Klein kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Frits Klein mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Maternité: the artist's wife Marie Raymond and their son Yves Klein beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für EUR 12.500,00 versteigert wurde.
