This work without title by Friedrich Kunath was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,291.92), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Friedrich Kunath achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Fault Your Fault in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 118,750.00 (€ 108,013.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Friedrich Kunath wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 5.040,00 (€ 4.291,92) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Friedrich Kunath erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Fault Your Fault im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 118.750,00 (€ 108.013,46).
