Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Friedel Dzubas achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November last year. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction, the work Early Signal sold for USD 113,400.00 (€ 109,851.79) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Friedel Dzubas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 325,000.00 (€ 287,026.41).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Friedel Dzubas erzielte im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Early Signal für USD 113.400,00 (€ 109.851,79) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Friedel Dzubas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im November 2018 für USD 325.000,00 (€ 287.026,41) versteigert wurde.
