In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work The studio sink sold for GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,110.61) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 800.00. Admittedly, works by Frederick Henry Stonham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reflections in January 2006 with an auction result of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,673.63).
