Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,407.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Admittedly, works by Frederick Henry Stonham have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Reflections in January 2006 with an auction result of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,673.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ryde, Isle of Wight von Frederick Henry Stonham kam im Januar 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.407,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frederick Henry Stonham auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Reflections im Januar 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.673,63).
