In January 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Lantern, kettle, apples, tools, a jug and shoes by Frederick Henry Stonham. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,680.00 (€ 2,462.38), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Henry Stonham - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reflections, which sold at auction in January 2006 for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,673.63).

Im Januar 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lantern, kettle, apples, tools, a jug and shoes von Frederick Henry Stonham zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.680,00 (€ 2.462,38) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Frederick Henry Stonham mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reflections beobachtet, die im Januar 2006 für GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.673,63) versteigert wurde.
