However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Hammersley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ego I Go, #15 1975, which sold at auction in September last year for USD 65,895.00 (€ 67,356.64).

Die Arbeit Off The Cuff von Frederick Hammersley kam im September 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 20.000,00 (€ 16.930,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Für andere Arbeiten von Frederick Hammersley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ego I Go, #15 1975 beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für USD 65.895,00 (€ 67.356,64) versteigert wurde.
