The work No doubt about it, #11 1985 by Frederick Hammersley was sold in the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. It achieved a price of USD 22,950.00 (€ 21,780.39), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederick Hammersley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Ego I Go, #15 1975, which sold at auction in September last year for USD 65,895.00 (€ 67,356.64).

Die Arbeit No doubt about it, #11 1985 von Frederick Hammersley wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 22.950,00 (€ 21.780,39) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Für andere Arbeiten von Frederick Hammersley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Ego I Go, #15 1975 beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für USD 65.895,00 (€ 67.356,64) versteigert wurde.
