It achieved a price of GBP 7,250.00 (€ 8,609.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 45%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Edward McWilliam achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woodhenge in June 2018 with an auction result of GBP 224,750.00 (€ 254,005.80).

Die Arbeit Leg Figure D von Frederick Edward McWilliam kam im April 2017 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 7.250,00 (€ 8.609,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 45%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederick Edward McWilliam erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woodhenge im Juni 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 224.750,00 (€ 254.005,80).
