Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,267,500.00 (€ 1,198,241.63). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Frederic Church - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Valley Of Santa Isabel, New Granada, which sold at auction in May 2018 for USD 5,026,250.00 (€ 4,306,983.72).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.267.500,00 (€ 1.198.241,63) einen neuen Besitzer.
