Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2000 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and 19th Century Art, which included the work Sheep grazing with chickens and ducks; and Sheep grazing with chickens by François van Severdonck. The price achieved of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 7,040.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by François van Severdonck have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture was auctioned for EUR 9,250.00.

Im April 2000 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sheep grazing with chickens and ducks; and Sheep grazing with chickens von François van Severdonck zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 7.040,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von François van Severdonck konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2008 die Arbeit Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture für EUR 9.250,00 versteigert.
