Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2000 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and 19th Century Art, which included the work Sheep grazing with chickens and ducks; and Sheep grazing with chickens by François van Severdonck. The price achieved of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 7,040.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Other works by François van Severdonck have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2008 the work Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture was auctioned for EUR 9,250.00.
