Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A goat and sheep in a landscape by François van Severdonck was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2001. The price achieved of EUR 1,527.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,400.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by François van Severdonck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 9,250.00.

Die Arbeit A goat and sheep in a landscape von François van Severdonck kam im September 2001 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.527,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.400,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von François van Severdonck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sheep And Poultry Resting In The Pasture im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 9.250,00.
