In December 2011 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction European Noble and Private Collections, which included the work Playing the horn by Franz Hecker. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,500.00 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Hecker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Frühlingslandschaft mit Kindern am Bachlauf., which sold at auction in May 2018 for EUR 5,547.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2011 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion European Noble and Private Collections durch, in der auch die Arbeit Playing the horn von Franz Hecker zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Hecker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Frühlingslandschaft mit Kindern am Bachlauf. beobachtet, die im Mai 2018 für EUR 5.547,00 versteigert wurde.
