Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Pool of London by Frank William Scarbrough was sold in the The Marine Sale auction at Bonhams in London in November 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 1,402.50 (€ 1,565.66), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank William Scarbrough achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Pool of London; And London Bridge (Both Illustrated) in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,640.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
