Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Upper Pool, London' by Frank William Scarbrough was sold in the The Marine Sale auction at Bonhams in London in October last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,114.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank William Scarbrough achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Pool of London; And London Bridge (Both Illustrated) in May 2006 with an auction result of GBP 11,400.00 (€ 16,640.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Upper Pool, London' von Frank William Scarbrough wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Marine Sale bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.114,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00.
